35 years full time musician, the big man knows he got it right within this superlative band. John Field wrote the platinum selling album for his old band “The Cockroaches”, writing six top forty songs for the band including the top ten “She’s The One”. He then wrote over 300 songs for the children’s music phenomenon “The Wiggles” including “Hot Potato”, “Go Santa Go”and “Do The Propellor”. Meanwhile, after scouring every rehearsal room in the country, he assembled this mighty mighty band. Almost two thousand shows on , they are powering on, better than ever before…. Fitter than ever, keener than ever, proudly charging into the next ten years with this super band. 

The biggest voice in Australia, Bronwyn Mulcahy has astounded audiences over the least 15 years with her powerhouse vocals and stage presence. 

She has sung all over the world in theatre as lead in “Cats” (Berlin), “Man of La Mancha” (Sydney), Blood Brothers (Sydney) and Andrew Lloyd Webbers Masterpiece DVD from Hong Kong. She wrote and sang the theme song “Bitter Sweet” for the Australian Film “Surviving Georgia” and played the lead role of “Trude Weiss Szilard” in the world wide premiere of the musical “Atomic”.

Bronwyn spans the gap between Music Theatre and rock, from touring and singing with INXS in their heyday to singing the anthem on national TV to open the cricket in 2019, to touring and performing for years with the JFB. 






Dan played toured with the “Cockroaches”when just out of school, founded “The Love Pirates” then has played with the JF Band ever since,  he also sings 2 songs a night with unbridled youthful enthusiasm.

Originally from New York, Roy was James Morrison’s agent, founded “Swing City” and played ‘bone for “The Mel Torme Big Band”, “The Jimmy Dorsey Orchestra” and the Sammy Kaye Orchestra as well as touring with the “Glen Miller Big Band”. 

Classically trained, Dom wrote and arranged music for the Wiggles children group for many years on many of their albums and toured and conducted their live orchestra. He also arranged and recorded  the Gilbert and Sullivan music for the TV show “Paramithi”.

Still sits in with various orchestras across Sydney and Canberra

Formerly with.“The Mauve” and the influential “Them That Now”, Mark also organized and played the music for the last papal visit! He revs the crowds up with his magnificent crowd dance offs. He manages the John Field Band.

A seasoned roots musician,  also a brilliant guitarist, Matt wrote, recorded and released his  “Gemini” album a few years ago….buy it, stream it, just get it… it’s fantastic. Played for years with the Bondi Cigars, Continental Robert Susz, Danny Friedman.

A music historian, a committed roots musician , speaks 4 languages, a philosopher who wakes up on stage every night playing an ABBA song and asks “How did I get here?”

Has toured playing bass for Guy Sebastian, Rodriguez and Continental Robert Susz.
